On March 21st, 2013, Tatitana Santo Domingo and Andrea Casiraghi welcomed a baby boy into the world. Tatiana Santo Domingo is the daughter of Julio Mario Santo Domigo Jr. and Brazilian socialite Vera Rechulskiulio, while Andrea Casiraghi is a Monegasque royal, the son of Princess Caroline of Monaco. The new baby isn’t currently in line for the throne, as Tatiana and Andrea are not married. But that could change if they were later married.
It has been rumored that the baby’s name is Sacha, as Princess Caroline is rumored to have mentioned at the Rose Ball she attended after flying out to meet her first grandchild.
While the birth of a child of the Grimaldi family is usually greeted with quite a bit of fanfare, Andrea and Tatiana seem content to keep their private life out of the news and as low-key as possible. Tatiana gave birth in a private hospital in London, far from the press spectacle in Monaco. The new parents have also said that their family base will likely be in Paris, where the two of them met in boarding school.
However, with family like they both have it is unlikely that they will manage to stay completely out of the public eye. Not only is Andrea Casiraghi in line for the Monaco throne, but Tatiana Santo Domingo also comes from a illustrious family. Among them, is her half-brother Andres Santo Domingo, who is married to New York socialite and fashion consultant Lauren Santo Domingo- recently named one of the 40 hottest women in tech.
Throughout it all, however, Tatiana maintains a great head on her shoulders and shows just how well the Santo Domingo family raises their children.
“Everyone loves to invent fairytales about little princesses who can do whatever they want,” she explained to Hello!. “(In reality) there are privileged people who still fight for what they believe in and try to build something rather than throwing away the money their parents left them.”
